Please Don't Upload "The Betty Hutton Show" |
I have 4 episodes of "The Betty Hutton Show", But I won't upload 'em since it's seriously the worst TV show of the 20th Century. The production values are not too bad, and Betty is charming, But the writing and supporting cast is abysmal. It makes "My Mother The Car" look like "Citizen Kane". The show is PD but it's just not worth uploading. It doesn't even have historical importantance.

We agree on this one, Robin. I downloaded a few episodes of that from GUBA.com , and it was unwatchable. I couldn't get through the first one it was so bad!
There were a number of failed shows that particular season (1959 to 1960), and the only successes that I can think of were The Twilight Zone, Dobie Gillis, and the long-unseen sitcom (although I never got to see it) Hennessey.
To Betty Hutton's credit though, she was a very attractive woman even in middle age. But good looks alone don't always guarantee high ratings....

1959-1960 Season |
I'm glad we agree on something! I honestly think 1959-1960 was a fairly dull year for TV. Another flop from 1959-1960 was "The Dennis O'Keefe Show", which is merely mediocre.
